Updated 18th May, 2021

Hi from Dance Arts.

In light of the severity and high transmission rates of the new Covid-19 strains, we have decided to suspend all group classes effective today.

We will be pushing all children’s and teen’s classes online, and will provide more details later this week.

Adult online classes are being worked out, and affected students will be updated in the upcoming days.

We seek your understanding and hope you remain safe.

Thank you.

Updated 22nd June, 2020

Dear all, we thank you for your patience.

After intensive review, Dance Arts is looking forward to resume classes again at our studios. The most prevalent advisory affecting our studio space at Dance Arts would be the limit of 5 students per class, with at least 2 metres distance between each student during class. With that in mind, please note the following points below:

1) Children and Teen Classes

All Children and Teen classes will resume from Wednesday 1st July onwards. A revised term schedule will be sent to each student by the 24th June, along with further information regarding classes. Enrollment of new students will cease temporarily until Phase 3, or when class size restrictions are lifted.

2) Adult Classes

All Adult Classes will resume from Wednesday 24th June onwards. All adult classes will require booking to confirm attendance. Please reminded that within our studios, classes will be limited to 5 people. Where possible, a second class will be offered to accommodate more students.

  • Booking Procedure
  1. Classes will be open for booking one day before the class, from 00:00hrs on the previous day. Priority will be given to the existing Dance Card holders of the class.
  2. Bookings can be made via WhatsApp to 81279177. Successful bookings will be notified via WhatsApp.
  3. If classes are full, subsequent bookings will be wait listed and notified of any availability.
  4. Any Cancellation must strictly be made by 12pm on the day of class*.
  5. Enrollment of new students will cease temporarily until Phase 3, or when class size restrictions are lifted.

*We regret that any cancellation received after 12pm will be considered a no-show, and a lesson will be marked off the Dance Card.

3) Safety Measures

Apart from good hygiene, Safe Entry QR code scanning, and temperature taking, kindly take note of the following:

  • Maintain 1 metre distance outside of class, and 2 metres distance during class.
  • Masks must be worn at all times except during class.
  • Changing rooms will be unavailable at this time. Please be appropriately attired before arriving at the studio.
  • Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before class, and kindly exit the studio once class has ended.

As always, we thank you for your support and understand your excitement to return for classes. We too can’t wait to see all of you in class again!

Updated 15th June, 2020

As per the latest announcement by PM Lee, Phase 2 will commence on Friday 19th June. While this is hopeful news that enables Dance Arts to re-open, we will be reviewing the guidelines over the coming days to determine how we can resume our classes at the studio. Much like the rolling out of Phases 1-3 by the Government, Dance Arts may gradually resume certain classes at different stages during the next two weeks, with the intent to resume all physical classes at the studio by 1st July.

We will provide updates on our re-opening plan within the next few days.

We ask for your patience and appreciate your support over these past few months. Thank you!

Updated 3rd April, 2020

As per the latest regulations mentioned by PM Lee, Dance Arts Singapore will temporarily close from Monday 6th onwards until further notice. All dance cards will be frozen during this time.

Thank you for your support during the past few months, and we hope to see you all again very soon. Until then, stay safe and healthy.

Booking of classes will now be required to secure a place in class. The booking process is as follows:

i) The minimum age limit is 18 years old. Students 17 years old and below are unable to take classes at this time.

vii) Enrollment of new students will cease temporarily until 1st May.

*We regret that any cancellation received within 6 hours will be considered a no-show, and the lesson will be marked off the Dance Card.

4) Declaration Form

In addition to mandatory temperature screening, all visitors will be required to complete a declaration form each time they attend classes. We recommend students to arrive 15 minutes earlier to allow time for this.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and seek your understanding in this matter. We hope this difficult period for everyone will pass soon, and normalcy can resume.
